Renunciations are papers filed in the Orphans' Court by executors of an estate who do not wish to administer that estate. Letter from Henry E. Johnston to H. B. Swarr noting that some small incorrect charges against Harriet Lane Johnston remain unsatisfied, reminding him that he has failed to give her James Buchanan’s personal record of his investments as he had promised to do, and stating his preference that all the papers used by Mr. Curtis should be held together and equitably divided after the book is published.
