Includes currency from Conewago Furnace, Chickies Furnace, Columbia Bank, Susquehanna River Not, Detweiler & Bros. Bank, East Earl Twp., Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Fairmount, Hinkletown, Lancaster City, Farmer's Bank, Lancaster Bank, Landisville/Frenchtown, Merchant's Notes from Lincoln, Manheim & Marietta, Mastersonsville, Safe Harbor, Mt. Joy, New Providence and Strausburg. Also some checks on Lancaster County banks and colonial currency. Iron Betty lamp painted black. Substantial hook attached to top of arced arm. Hole for missing wick pick. (Mark inside lamp on base may be where a wick spout was attached. Oil container has covering. Front half is hinged and folds up. It's notched at the tip.
Brass chamberstick constructed of sheet rolled brass, with oval base, 3-position adjustable height stem, thin band handle.
Candle holder extends about 5" into the hollow shaft. A smallcup (inside shaft) is attached to an external handle that allows the candle height to be adjusted. The shaft is cut open 4.25" to allow candle movement. 3 side slits along opening for anchoring so candle stick can be carried. Oval shaped drip pan. 'LTR' scratched on to the bottom of drip pan.
