Token, 1928 Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, Realm of Pennsylvania. Token indicates that a member of the Klan from Pennsylvania attended the 1928 National Konklave and subsequent march on Washington, D.C. Similar tokens were made for those from Michigan, Illinois and Ohio.
Long-sleeved denim-blue colored cotton dress with detachable white collar & cuffs. Slight v-neck and pleat from shoulder to waist on both sides on the front. Front opening with 7 buttons (white shell). 2.25-inch flat waist band. 3.5-inch deep pocket on left front bodice. A 7-inch deep pocket on lower right skirt. White collar is hand-sewn onto this dress. White cuffs have a buttonhole on both ends to be attached to button on dress cuffs. Printed on cuffs: "Corliss" THE EDNA/ 8 1/2 /Corliss, COO II & Co." In cursive in ink on edge: "E M Charles." A finger-shaped tab extends from lower edge of both cuffs. Cuffs are 4 inches long & 11 inches wide. Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Lancaster.

Some stains. All buttonholes on dress repaired/reinforced with hand stitching. Collar is frayed & worn (some holes).
2-piece white starched cotton apron: bib front (with label) & 3.5-inch wide shoulder straps that are pinned in the back to the 2.5-inch waist band of the gathered skirt. Tab attached to inside front center of waistband with stamped: "Attach Bib here". Bib is hand-stitched to tab. Skirt opens in back. 2 buttonholes with 2 different white 2-holed shell buttons. Gray-white pin-striped long-sleeved uniform dress. White cuffs are attached. Stamped on inside of both: "Hospital Clothing Co./ Philadelphia PA/ MARGIE". Cuffs button onto sleeve button. No collar present, but there is a stud to button a collar on the back & 2 button holes in front to attach a collar. Front opening (21 inches long) with 4 white plastic buttons. Voting box, nailed butt joint construction, pine, original varnish finish, in gold lettering, "Post 118 / GAR / Swamp Angel" Box fitted with bracket to hold miniature wooden cannon barrel with original gold paint decoration, Canon swivels on bracket and has an extension that acts as a stopper for the hole where balls are placed into drawer to vote.
