Henry describing the disturbing condition of the baby [Buchanan Henry, 1860-1862?] and the difficulty she has with dealing with it; Mrs. Thieriot has been very helpful; attended sacred music concerts of Mr. Hubbard, Mr. Ladam, and Mr. Kensell; Henry and Therese have come; plans to come home by train via Ticonderoga and he will meet her at Troy Station; praises the staff at the hotel. Henry recounting his conversation with the secretary of the cemetery company where James Buchanan Henry’s father and sister are buried informing him that no more interments will be made in the old cemetery and that the tombstones of his father and sister are “their condition is any worse than any of the others”; wonders if Reg has joined the Catholic Church; that Rob has returned to barracks after camp; and will send a picture of his camp a little later.
