Henry to Louisa Anderson describing the scene out of his hotel window; recounts his days in Paris including his illness; has seen none of his acquaintances; has bought Louisa a watch similar to his own and himself opera glasses; and mentions Mr. Scharff. Envelope in several water-stained pieces with return address of A. F. Mathone, Geneve and postmarks of Geneva and New York, no stamp. Geneva, [Switzerland].
