"Roots of frugal Lancaster", photographed and designed by Randy Harris consists of copies of 9 advertisements from a Directory- City of Lancaster, published by James H. Bryson, in 1843. (43 pages). Ads are outlined and appear in two vertically arranged columns in various colors: whites and shades of orange. Ads offer cheap dry goods, groceries, provisions, hardware and glass. Randy Harris signed and dated the piece 2006 in the lower right.

President Buchanan's Residence. Wheatland, Lancaster
Description
Black and white print of Wheatland's north facade. Engraving depicts the front fence, man with top hat and cane walking up the east carriage path toward the mansion. The north facade is partially hidden by a grove of trees and shrubbery. The print was removed from an 1861 edition of John W. Barber and Henry Howe's book, "Our Whole Country: Or the Past and Present of the United States Historical and Descriptive."
