Three telegraphing devices are displayed on a wooden mount with engraved metal plate: "National Transit Company/ Lancaster, Pa." On right is a device patented in 1878. In center is the lever to press for coding dots and dashes. 'H. Bunnell/ New York is stamped into the metal base. The third device is labeled: "150/ J.H. Bunnell & Co. N.Y./Ohms." "N.T. Co." is on its wooden base.
Large iron box lock from Conestoga Cotton Mill #3 gate. Very long rectangular box has four screw holes for securing to gate and two very small butt hinges attached with screws to back edge. A projecting hollow key escutcheon is riveted to front of box about 5" from one end. Key would be inserted into lock through escutcheon.
In addition, there is an iron latch plate with L-shaped projection mounted onto face of plate, for receiving a lift latch bar. It has five screw holes for mounting on gate.
Depth or thickness is box lock only. Overall thickness including projecting handle holder is 3".

Expected strong weathering, resulting in surface pitting, rust, white paint residue and 3 significant cracks branching out from one screw hole near latch holder. Latch plate is extremely worn with apparent missing sections. L-shaped projection has lost its original surface due to grinding. Interior of box lock also ground away in sections.

1939 Lancaster Bar Association Photo Membership Plaque
Description
Sheet of 1.75 x 1.25 inch black and white portraits of members of the 1939 Lancaster Bar Association mounted on a wooden plaque. Photos begin upper left with J.W. B. Bausman, 1877, and end R.M. Barley, 1939 in lower right corner. Of the 98, two are women: A.E. Mumma, 1925; and S. H. Worthheimer, 1927.
Black parasol. Black painted finial dowel runs length and ends with a handle grip,flat on one side with curved handle on the other. 29" + when opened. 10-spoked double-layered black fabric parasol. 4-inch wide filmy black lace edging (scalloped edge with embroidered black dot-and-bow embellishment) hand-stitched to lower edge. Black cording loop with black grossgrain ribbon can be wrapped around and hooked over thread-covered wooden barrel-shaped button to close the parasol.
Black parasol with folding handle. Black glossy paint, faux bamboo finial with wooden handle curved at bottom. Hinges 10 inches from bottom and near top, both secured.
Black heavy fabric upper and light black silky fabric lining. Bottom edge is scalloped, cut that way to finish the edge. Some fraying.
