Letter from J. B. Henry to Louisa Anderson asking her to forward an enclosed letter of Ives to Mrs. Magruder; reports that he is better but still week; is having Horace Barber to have his small boat sent for her use; hopes to be there early next week; got her first card the same day she sent it. Envelope with letterhead, postmark less two stamps addressed to Mrs. J. Buchanan Henry, Hillside House, Hague, Warren Co, New York. Saratoga Springs, NY.

The James Buchanan Family Papers were collected by the James Buchanan Foundation for the Preservation of Wheatland. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Digitization of the James Buchanan Family Papers was funded by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, PHMC Appl ID # 201808013051, 2019-2020.
