Summons to Boyd’s executors v. Boyd’s administrators requiring them to produce the deed of conveyance in which James Whitehall of Donegal Township is the grantor and James Boyd, John Boyd, Samuel Boyd and Joseph Boyd are the grantees. Buchanan served the notice on Samuel Boyd. Lancaster.

Printed version of the court case between the executors of James Buchanan’s estate and Henry E. Johnston and Harriet L. Johnston, his wife, concerning the papers left by Buchanan, some delivered to William B. Reed for the purpose of writing a biography (as directed by the will, but Reed refused to write the biography), the alleged mis-handling by E. Y. Buchanan of a large number of family papers in the possession of the defendants, and the unwillingness of E. Y. Buchanan to destroy certain papers as directed by the will. Lancaster.

They show the name of the decedent, the decedent's place of residence, the name of the person renouncing administration, the name of the replacement administrator to be appointed, and date. The relationship between the decedent, the executor, and the administrator is usually shown. Arranged chronologically and then alphabetically within each year.
