The book was not published until after his death...Abraham S. Martin was ordained a minister in the Groffdale Mennonite church after Jacob W. Stauffer withdrew to form a new group, called the Stauffer (Pike) Mennonites. In his copy of Jacob W. Stauffer's book...he wrote a number of comments about matters on which he disagreed with the author.
