Henry to Louisa Anderson commenting on her aunt’s letter stating that both mother and child are doing well; sent a letter to a friend enclosing a photograph; the German of Parker was successful and Jessie stayed until late; visited Miss McKenzie and likes her very much; shot a rabbit and partridge; sending her a paper from Orvis in Jacksonville who published part of James Buchanan Henry’s letter; and the economy is so poor that he will not fill any orders but hopes next year will be better. Envelope with postmark addressed to Mrs. J. Buchanan Henry, Care Dr. W. C. Anderson, Stapleton, Staten Island, New York. Both letter and envelope heavily water damaged rendering parts unreadable.
