Dr. James LeFevre, of 1450, made the first translation of the Bible into French, published in 1530. Isaac LeFevre, our American ancestor, escaped from persecution and death in France in 1685, came to America in 1708 and settled here in Pequea Valley in 1712.

A scene in 1954 at Strasburg. In the rear is the engine house. The coal dock is out of sight ot the left and two sidings for feed are located on the left and on the right where the boxcar was. It was the only freight car on the road.
