$11.6 million planning session - executives of RCA Electronic Components and Devices review plans for a $11.6 million expansion of the company's plant at Lancaster, Pa. The appropriation will be spent on two new buildings, providing 200,000 additional square feet of space for color picture tube engineering, industrial and military tube manufacturing. At left is a 154,000 square foot expansion for conversion tube manufacturing operations. The new building on the right is a 46,000 square foot area that will be utilized for color TV picture tube design and application, as well as chemical and physics engineering.
