Civil War era presentation sword, Light Cavalry. Stamped with maker's mark, "PDL"
Research suggests this sword is likely Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber, 35" long or M1862 Saber 41" long (blade 35").
"PDL" is swordmaker Peter R. Luneschloss of Germany.
