Elizabeth Herr Shenk (1869-1934) married Leroy Frey Mayer (1868-1958). Their daughter Kathryn M. Mayer Lichty (1901-1972) and her husband Charles Fouse Lichty (1899-1983) moved to Howell County, Missouri between 1940 and 1950.

Black and white framed photographs, showing an Asian man sitting in a corner chair, wearing a traditional Chinese hat, shirt and slippers, and holding a fan. A drapery and painting of water fowl are on the walls behind him. Below the photo is indicated that the subject is Do You, a laundry owner in Lancaster in 1888.
The name and address of the photo studio are below the photo: "Saylor/ 42 & 44 West King Street/ Lancaster, PA."
The matting is in gold trim under a green overlay, and the frame is painted gold, brown, and black.
Do You's laundry was located at No. 3 and 5 North Duke Street, Lancaster. He is also shown in P.95.17.01.

Photo is in apparent excellent condition. A brown mark appears in the lower left, above the studio name, and the subject's name is smudged. The told paint on the frame has numerous black marks, and the frame overall has several scratches.
