"From Pennsylvania to Waterloo explores the development in the United States and Canada of a distinctive Germanic lifestyle. This volume, illustrated with objects from the acclaimed exhibition Changes in Latitudes, brings together experts from both sides of the border to create an invaluable resource for folklorists, historians, students, collectors and anyone with an interest in folklife, antiques or Pennsylvania-German culture. It will be particularly valuable to anyone interested in textiles, foodways and fraktur. The high quality of the photographs and their reproduction make this book a real treasure." [from AbeBooks]
