Gavel with turned wooden handle and turned ivory head. Ebonized handle has three vase turnings near middle and swell at handle end with acorn terminal. Handle is fitted into hole in side of ivory head. Gavel belonged to General Daniel B. Strickler.

Description
Framed flag of John Wise used on Balloon flights. 13 stars, 7 red stripes, 6 white stripes. Attached note reads, "This flag has accompanied 239 aerial voyages - has travelled in the air over 11,000 miles - has been constantly the harbinger of good fortune and no serious accident ever occurred while it was present. It is a talisman of good luck. It is over 34 years old and was made in 1834." Bdly faded.

Mochaware mustard pot with lid
Description
Slip decorated mochaware with dendritic patterns in dark brown on pearlware body (A) with lid (B). Slip banded with broad orange-brown band and dark brown borders. Applied rolled handle with shaped, decorated terminals. Slightly domed lid has two bands of dark brown and one of orange-brown, with round finial and cutaway for spoon.
Removed label "Mocha 5B". Remaining tape label on lid is "2082 J. B. Morris, Jr."
