Walnut chest of drawers. Two small drawers mounted side by side just below the top of the chest with three full-width drawers below; each drawer has two glass drawer pulls and a centered, brass escutcheon keyhole. The chest has recessed side panels with matching crotch-grain walnut veneer. The chest sits on four turnip feet for overall support.

Sheet of 1.75 x 1.25 inch black and white portraits of members of the 1939 Lancaster Bar Association mounted on a wooden plaque. Photos begin upper left with J.W. B. Bausman, 1877, and end R.M. Barley, 1939 in lower right corner. Of the 98, two are women: A.E. Mumma, 1925; and S. H. Worthheimer, 1927.
A) Linoleum print of "Passmore's House 1760" by Melissa M. Coleman (signed). Black ink on off-white/beige laid paper. See photocopy in accession files.
B) Front of mat (in 2 pieces now), title and signature on mat.
Slight discoloration (brownish) along top corners on front caused by yellowing (orange) tape adhesive remnants on back side. Black marks front left side and three on back.
Button from 1936 Fireman's Day. White button with black firetruck in center. Black lettering says "Lancaster County FIremans' Day." Below firetruck" June 6, 1936 Christiana, PA." One inch of 3/4 inch wide red ribbon holds a 1 3/8 long gold colored metal fireman's helmet. Maker's name, Erisman Lanc. Pa., in blue ink on paper insert on back of button.
According to donor's records all buttons were from Fireman's Conventions; Fireman's Day seems to be another name for these conventions.

On a red robbon (1.625in w x 3.5in L) in gold letters: "18th Annual Convention lanster County Firemen's Association Quarryville PA. June 4, 1938"
