Henry debating at length whether she should attempt to travel to Lake George since she is still nursing because a wet nurse is very expensive and the milk might not agree with the baby and her father advises against making the journey; Jamie is well and Jamie’s photograph is enclosed; Dr. Eccleston misses James Buchanan Henry from church, comments on all the boys and said that Mrs. Courtenay had her fourth set of twins; wonders if the Keasaye had been ordered home; and sends love to Dody. Thompson might be ill; had a great sail to Providence and might go to Block Island next; Mr. Schmidt sent Mr Winan of Baltimore to look at the yacht but seems uninterested in buying it; Cousin Will Buchanan is too ill to come; and only one beautiful woman in Newport.
