Description
Chiques Tunnel - early view from the 1880's looking south note the light rails of that perios. Tunnel built 1849 - 1850 by the Harrisburg, Portsmouth, Mount Joy and Lancaster Railroad. Line officially opened to Portsmouth (now Middletown) on Tuesday October 1, 1850.
