Hard-bound book with "The/ Little/ Lame/ Prince/ Mulock" in bold on the aqua-colored tape spine. 2/3 of front and back covered with white and pink blossoms on wavy line background. "THE LITTLE LAME PRINCE AND HIS TRAVELLING CLOAK A Parable for Young and Old" on the title page. The frontispiece is a full-page color illustration of the prince flying in his cloak. Some full-page illustrations and smaller ink drawings throughout this198-page book.

"Merry Coaster Stories and Pictures for Our Little Friends," is an illustrated children's book printed in New York in 1892 by Worthington Co., 747 Broadway. Contains stories, poems, and rhymes that appeal to all ages. Black and white illustrations on almost every page.

This book was well-used. Pieces of glossy cover missing at top corners, front and back. Pages detached from spine binding and although all together, could fall out in chunks and some are out of order. Title page was not in beginning. Page edges are brown and ragged. Some pages torn, some with pencil scribbles.
