Known as The Marietta Scrapbook, this volume contains a variety of information in newspaper clippings and magazine articles about Marietta, Columbia, and the rest of Lancaster County. The articles convey a well-rounded view of local history. Topics include education, population, crime, taxes, elections, and occupations. There are also many articles on the Pennsylvania Dutch, personal histories, crime, and genealogical information within the book.
