Portion of the Saturday, August 12, 1912 page from the News-Journal, Lancaster, PA. Four 2.25-inch wide columns and a fifth double-wide column of ads on the right. Columns contain local items such as visits ("Elam Landis and family were Sunday guests..."), date of public school opening with teachers' names, Rawlinsville Campmeeting opening and names; Moose club mtg.; Rocky Springs Park. Moving Pictures of Lancaster. A "RELIGIOUS" column lists local churches, pastors' names and worship service times. The ad column lists Moving Picture s, Conestoga Amusements, Rocky Springs Park, Dancing at the York Furnace Pavillion and the Lancaster Loan Company and "Bell 'Phone 59Y."

Newsprint is glued to a stiff thin piece of brown board. Brown overall. Lower right portion of newspaper is missing. On reverse there are indentations from nails when piece was framed.
