Description
Sheet of 1.75 x 1.25 inch black and white portraits of members of the 1939 Lancaster Bar Association mounted on a wooden plaque. Photos begin upper left with J.W. B. Bausman, 1877, and end R.M. Barley, 1939 in lower right corner. Of the 98, two are women: A.E. Mumma, 1925; and S. H. Worthheimer, 1927.
P-10 written on back upper right corner.

Duck decoy of carved wood, head joined to body with slight angle to duck's right; crudely painted body is white, black, and deep mahogany. Glass eyes.

Red fabric banner with folded-over open slots at both top and bottom edges. 3 evenly-spaced inch-wide slots at top for fabric ties. All machine stitching is in white thread. Large white letters W, P and A are stitched on an angle from upper left to lower right. A white '2" is stitched in the lower left corner.
The Works Progress Administration was a New Deal program created by President Roosevelt in 1935 to employ millions of Americans in public works projects and arts programs.
