Green suede leather coin purse with machine-stitched seams on both sides. Flap folds down and closes with a silver snap and silver bead loops along edges.
Black knitted purse with vertical bands of clear beading, narrowing toward top where there are two horizontal strips of beading. Silver--colored metal frame with design of swirls. Bud-shaped clasps snap to open or close. Chain-link hand strap. Fabric lining is turquoise blue.

Black knitted beaded drawstring bag. Purse is a single fabric, seamed on both sides. Trapezoid-shaped bag with alternating columns of narrow and wider vertical columns of black beads. Fringe of beaded loops at bottom. Beaded drawstring drawn through 8 beaded loops and knotted on one side to from hand strap.
Rectangular linen drawstring bag. Two side openings to for crocheted strands/drawstrings. At these opening there are two crocheted bobbles dangling. Interior is lined with pink silk. Bottom decorative 3 inches is 6 rows of circles made with crochet thread with pink silk lining behind it. There is a knotted fringe on the bottom.

Silk lining inside that is covering the drawstring channel is worn and actually torn in some parts. Some soiling and spots on the linen.
Grand Army of the Republic badge. "In Union There Is Strength" on top pin. "D. H. Nissley Post, No. 478 / G. A. R. / Mount Joy, PA." G.A.R. emblem in center of badge. Badge is black with gold letters and gold braided trim on bottom with metal fringes.
Civil War veteran badge, Grand Army of the Republic. Button pin with G.A.R. emblem on top. "In Memoriam / Brandywine / Post No. 54 / Coatesville, PA." Black with silver border and gold letters.
Civil War veteran badge with medallions, Grand Army of the Republic. Gold pin on top with eagle. Underneath is metal piece with words, "55th Nat'l Encampment / GAR / Representative." Below that is metal piece with Lincoln head and words, "Springfield, Ill. / 1932." Below that is medallion with words, "Samuel P. Town Commander in Chief G. A. R." and his image.
