Summary: This book consists of letters Forbes wrote to British secretary of state William Pitt, Governor Denny of Pennsylvania, and Governor Sharpe of Maryland . A few letters by other persons were included due to their relevance to the subject of the letters. A biographical sketch of General Forbes is also included.
