Boulder and bronze tablet on the grounds of the Andrew B. Rote estate on Old Philadelphia Pike near Lancaster. The boulder is at the site where on July 27, 1825 General Lafayette reviewed the local battalions of infatnry and cavalry assembled to escort him to Lancaster. Tablet erected in 1934.
