Beginning as a general store and blacksmith shop about 1744 by John Miller. The Steinman Hardware Company celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 1944 when this picture was taken. The building still stands at 26 West King Street.
The Lancaster YWCA took an active part with local Armed Forces personnel and their families. Here two servicemen get some refreshments from volunteers at the YWCA Canteen.
