Commemorative ashtray of cast iron with a silvered, sand-textured finish. Oblong functional ashtray has large extension in shape of a porringer handle. This is cast with raised letters: "LAST/HEAT" and a centered date of "6 12 68". Below this is "POSEY IRON WKS./ LANCASTER PA" Apparently made as a memento of some unknown event designated by the words "LAST HEAT".
Round metal tray. Painted pink tinned sheet iron. Floral motif stenciled in gold paint around outer edge. Additional embellishments in blue and green. Gold inscription on reverse:
stating the tray is a memento for the 40th anniversary (1969) of the marriage of Kathryn Abel Clark and Howard Edwin Clark. married May 4, 1929 with signatures on the reverse of those in attendance:
Man's clip-on string tie of 7/8"-wide red grosgrain ribbon. Tie has two long ribbon ends extending down from bow. Printed in white on one "string" is "BOWMANSVILLE / 1820 and the other has "SESQUI-CENTENNIAL / 1970." Silver metal clips imprinted with "ORMAND" and "RUST RESIST."
