Since black men and women owned a dog more often than not, these books, as do

Such a rate of increase in the Black population was bound to have a detrimental impact on race relations,' especially since the dominant mood in White-Black relations in Colonial Pennsylvania was fear and animosity. Blacks in Colonial Pennsylvania were the
