Local 285 special membership meeting called to consider proposal negotiated by Local 285 with Armstrong Floor and Closure Plants. Membership voted to accept the proposals at both meetings. The proposals amounted to an eleven cent package. The package included: five cent per hour wage increase, hospitalization and group insurance paid entirely by company, one cent more H. S. diff., two weeks vacation after three years service, average earning for paid holidays.
