What follows is the culmination of the Lancaster City and County architectural surveys completed by the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County (HPT) from 1978 to 1985. Further, this publicaion serves to update the 1972 study, "Lancaster's Heritage", prepared by the Lancaster County Planning Commission, and to promote the preservation and restoration of our architectural resources.
