The Pequea Silver Mines about eight miles south of Lancaster on Route 324 were once operated on and off for a period of more than 200 years. Once worked by four tribes of Indians, today the mines may be explored in safety and comfort. The newest attraction to the Silver Mines is Country Music, performed outdoors by well known recording artists and fine local talent. The Pequea Silver Mines invites you to the kick-ff of the 1980 Summer Concert Season May 25 thru Sept. 28.
Donegal Mills - Colonial site dated from 1730. The Miller's house, left, and the Brick Mill (circa 1830) are part of the restored Country Estate situated between Mount Joy and Marietta. Visitors recapture the essence of Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century Lancaster County Living.
The Donegal Church - This Presbyterian Church, built in 1719, is located near Mount Joy, Pa. Directly in front of stands the Witness Tree around which the congregation pledged their allegiance to the cause of the Colonists during the American Revolution.
