The quilters skill creates a masterpiece with needle and thread! From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm each day during the 41st Annual Kutztown Folk Festival, quilters work at this quilting frame, where they will be happy to answer visitors' questions about quilting. The Quilting Building, where 1600 hand-quilted quilts are on display and for sale, is just one of 20 daily, special events at this summer's 9 day celebration. Through their food, craft demonstrations, and entertainment, the Pennsylvania Dutch tempt and excite the senses; so come smell, taste, hear, see and touch for yourself.

Funnel cake - a sweet treat. This Pennsylvania Dutch youngster is really enjoying her funnel cake, one of hundreds of Pennsylvania Dutch food specialties available at this summer's 41st Annual Kutztown Folk Festival. Each summer, the Pennsylvania Dutch invite everyone to come and sample their unique culture and heritage. Quilts, entertainment, and crafts await discovery.

Ivan Hoyt, hex sign painter and one of 200 craftsmen demonstrating their 18th and 19th century skills, would say that hex signs are just for decoration and have no "magical powers", but come judge for yourself. Visitors will also enjoy lots of delicious Pennsylvania Dutch food, 20 daily special events, and 1,600 quilts on dispal and for sail at this summer's 41st Annual Kutztown Folk Festival.
