Elliott Lane, the will of James Buchanan, late of Lancaster Township, Lancaster County, deceased, showing the amount debited and credited on behalf of Elliott Lane in the amount of $16,542.22. Signed by the guardians and certified by C. F. Jones. Lancaster. [Probably Elliott Eskridge Lane, son of James Buchanan Lane.]

This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Digitization of the James Buchanan Family Papers was funded by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, PHMC Appl ID # 201808013051, 2019-2020.
Salem Church of God, 328 West Orange Street, Lancaster. Built in 1877, congregation dissolved in 1884. Property conveyed to Covenant United Brethren Church, 1884 to 1926. Became First Pentecostal Church, Assembly of God from 1927 to 1959. Theobald School of Ballet from 1959 to 1986. Now Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster.
