"Dear Mother, This is Fri. nite about 7:30 & we're at our room in a tourist home & we got here at 5 by our time & 7 by theirs. Roy had just gotten off work. He's real excited over school. The mountains were gorgeous. I drove thru all of them 200 miles or more. Roy was real glad to get to drive again. Mrs. Z. killed a chicken & brot with us. We're paying $1.50 a night for 2 . Roy has a nice room. Lancaster is so big. the picture is really true to life on this card Lots of love, Madge
