The Pequea Silver Mines about eight miles south of Lancaster on Route 324 were once operated on and off for a period of more than 200 years. Once worked by four tribes of Indians, today the mines may be explored in safety and comfort. The newest attraction to the Silver Mines is Country Music, performed outdoors by well known recording artists and fine local talent.
