McCaskey - Mayor - Fifty Years a Teacher - 1908" on reverse.; McCaskey quit teaching boys in Lancaster City when Lancastrians elected him mayor in 1906.; When he ran for re-election in 1908, McCaskey paid the Philadelphia Mint to make 6,000 campaign medals in bronze. He handed them out around town.
