Case: Sheet iron construction, bean shaped case with internal support for epaulets, painted black. Central bail handle on hinged lid with hasp type clasp at front.
Epaulets A & B: Gold, brass, silk.

Ribbon, 1914 County Fair, Director.Metal top with pin attached on back. "Director" is printed on paper slid in from the back side. Attached to the bottom center is a round white metal button with eagle, ship and two horses above "virtue, liberty and independence." On reverse of button: "Manufactured/ by/ St. Louis Button Co./ St. Louis, Mo./ Pat. Aug 8, '99." An orange (formerly red?) ribbon hangs from the button: "The Lancaster / Fair/ Lancaster, Pa./ 1914."
Souvenir Badge--button pin and ribbon. Top has red rose in middle and reads "Official Souvenir / Red Rose City". Badge is red, white, and blue with gold letters and reads "53rd. Encampment, Department of PA. G.A.R. Lancaster, PA. June 9, 1919".
Grand Army of the Republic badge. "In Union There Is Strength" on top pin. "D. H. Nissley Post, No. 478 / G. A. R. / Mount Joy, PA." G.A.R. emblem in center of badge. Badge is black with gold letters and gold braided trim on bottom with metal fringes.
Civil War veteran badge, Grand Army of the Republic. Button pin with G.A.R. emblem on top. "In Memoriam / Brandywine / Post No. 54 / Coatesville, PA." Black with silver border and gold letters.
