THE NEWSPAPERS OF LAN- CASTER COUNTY. In 1896 1 was induced to attempt the compilation of a bibliography of the newspapers, magazines and other pe- riodical issues of the press in the city of Lancaster from 1752 down to that time. Two or three previous attempts, and very successful ones, too, had
