Description
Gundaker Stable - Old Town, Lancaster City Historic District, Vine and Rockland Streets. This magnificent limestone house built in 1790, nearly fell vicim of the "wrecker's ball" during the 1970's revitalization of the Old Town area. No one was aware of what lay beneath the deteriorated wood siding until a curious workman removed several boards and revealed this treasure!
