Lathe-turned wooden tar bucket with fitted lid and remnants of leather straps. Cylindrical vessel has slight taper inward toward middle. Decorated with two double score marks below center. Above center are shoulders jutting outward with vertical holes through which straps of leather handle pass. Handle also passes through lid of conforming shape, although one strap broken off at shoulder while the other is broken off 3 inches above shoulder.Center hole in lid apparently accepted a now-missing stick used to apply tar to wheels. Broken-off 5-inch length of leather strap rests inside. Tar residue in bucket.

Ecru heavy flannel long-sleeved shirt with collar. 2 front button-flap chest pockets. Heavy metal zipper with tab at front neckline. Zips to collar with button flap to close. Button sleeve cuffs. Label inside collar: "Zerotex" with moose looking through 'O' in middle.

Tan mark on right upper front and down front (fold line); also left pocket.Some spots back of right sleeve. Lower hem coming undone in 4 places.
Man's sports team jacket of tan flannel with red ribbed jersey at arms, neck and bottom. Front buttonhole opening with 7 red plastic buttons. Two front angled slash pockets with openings bound in red. A 5 1/2-inch high red felt 'A" is stitched on left front. On the back in red felt block letters: "Ralph Snavely." Small tag stitched to pocket on inside: "24 05W5" Label near neckline reads: "Made by Peppereli Fabrics." Stitching above this label inidicates another label has been removed.
Red dye has migrated from red jersey cuffs, collar and bottom band. Some on left sleeve from folded storage. Some brown spots on front, back and back left upper sleeve.
Hand-made protection pad with "Carl Frey" inked onto the brown leather backing. Wool on the front. 4 12-inch lengths of white cotton twill tape tacked midway (so there are two 6-inch ends) with black thread. 4.25 inches of holes from machine stitching near edge on circle. May have been made to protect the baseball player when sliding in to bases.
Box of toy soliders. Top of lid states "American Infantry" with a solidier holding a rifle. Words "Made in Germany" also found on the bottom right corner. Inside box contains 14 soldiers painted in red, 9 of which are on stands. One cannon is also included, painted in blue and gold.
Wooden top with a larger diameter at the top decreasing to a small point at the bottom. Tip of the top is made of metal. 1/2" metal band around the center of the top. Handle of top is smaller at the top compared to the base. Hole is in the center of the handle
Wooden stocking shared forms .5" deep, to hang child's stockings to dry. 1" from the top and in the center, a .25" hole has been placed so a string can be attached for hanging the form while stocking dries.
Pressed glass with a bluish tint on the bottom. Seam visible on both sides of jar. Words"Whitney Patd 1858" create a circle around the word "Mason." Multiplw areas show where there are bubble in the glass.
Lid is charcoal gray and light gray underneath. 4 rings are visible on the underside with the letter H in the center of the smallest ring. "Boyd's genuine porcelain lined 6 cap" words around outermost ring.
Handmade rectangular grater crudely fashioned with tinned sheet iron and having 14 staggered slits of 1.25" width and raised edges for cutting. All four edges are folded to back, but the two long sides are rolled over wire to stiffen length of tool.
Crudely fashioned tin tool has wear and imperfections at blades and back corners. Abrasions and corrosion scattered overall. Peeling paint or corrosion.
Yellow ribbon pinned behind a gold-colored metal pin as if hanging behind a relief curtain rod and valance. In black letters on ribbon: "BUSINESS/ MEN'S/ CLUB/ - / McKINLEY/ AND/ ROOSEVELT./ -/ 1900."
Paper sticker on back of ribbon: "Erisman,/ Badges, Banners, Flags/ Lodge Supplies/ Manufacturer's Agent,/ Lancaster, Pa."
