Historic Witmer Bridge - Built 1799. This, one of the oldest, largest and most picturesque bridges in the country, crosses Conestoga Creek. It was built by Abraham Witmer at his own expense, in 1799-1800 and sold by him to the county; it bears an inscription describing Mr. Witmer as "one of the prominent and public-spirited citizens of the county."
