Admin/Biographical History
"1936 Orville Easton started Lancaster Automobile Spring Co. in a small facility in the City of Lancaster. 1937 Orville incorporated and moved to a larger facility. Orville's primary business was the manufacture of automobile springs and "U" bolts. 1942 Richard Bomberger founded Lancaster Automobile Spring, Inc. His primary function was to expand the business. They started selling truck bodies and doing truck modifications such as: four man cabs, right hand driver, wheel base and frame alterations, extra axles, 4-wheel drive conversions, and custom bodies manufacturing. The increased business forced the company to move to a much larger facility on Manheim Pike. 1972 Ron Hill purchased the company from Orville Easton and Richard Bomberger. He sold the spring business to one of the employees. Also, he changed the company name to Lancaster Truck Bodies. 1977 Dick Toriello came to work for Lancaster Truck Bodies, and the company moved to its current location on Richardson Drive." https://www.salary.com/research/company/lancaster-truck-bodies/inside-sales-salary?cjid=7006492 (accessed October 14, 2023)
