The James Buchanan Family Papers were collected by the James Buchanan Foundation for the Preservation of Wheatland. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Condition of sale of Buchanan’s Orange Steet property by his executors, Edward Y. Buchanan and H. B. Swarr. Includes newspaper advertisement of the property and a drawing of the property lying between East Orange Street and a public alley, bordered on property of Mr. Musselman and Mr. Thomas. Contains stamps. Manuscript of 3 pages.
