The James Buchanan Family Papers were collected by the James Buchanan Foundation for the Preservation of Wheatland. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Henry expressing sorrow over his sickness and will come if needed; vehemently asks that he now invite James Buchanan to Bucky’s christening since James Buchanan was so opposed to the marriage that none of her family want to see him; the McKims want to stop by; and will leave the matter in his hands.
