This refers to Benjamin G. Laechey of company A.
Label in Archives claims hammer was originally propery of Alexander Stephens, vice-president of the Confederacy and was found in his office desk in Richmond, VA.

World War I Medal or award. Bronze stylized inner seal of Lancaster. Given to soldiers returning from WWI in 1919. (Safety pin sewn to ribbon on back.) See Journal article, vol. 97, #2.
German gold colored artillery shell. Base has marking "Rh.M.F.118" with "St" above, as well as the date Jan 1915 and Dusseldorf. Beneath Dusseldorf: "Sp61."
