The programs and events included a marble tournament, supervisors' training classes, playgrounds, wading pools and street showers, swimming lessons, twilight centers, Kite Karnival, Airplane Contest, play and folk dance festival, hikes, and community parties. The associated clubs and organizations were the Jr. and Boys' Clubs, Girls' Club, Boys' Club (for boys of color), and the Crispus Attucks Recreation and Community Center.
