Muskets stocked, in the best and neatest manner, by Edward Pole, in Market street, near the Court-House, Philadelphia; where may be had the best kind of wires and brushes for firelocks, priming flasks and oil bottles to bit in the cartouch boxes; musket and pistol balls; musket and pistol cartridges of all sizes, and cartridge formers. Also cartridges made up, on moderate terms by the hundred or larger quantity.
N.B. A very neat cutteau de chase, and a small sword, to be sold at the above place.

Extraordinary wages will be given to two or three Journeymen gunsmiths, who ae well skilled in stocking of muskets and rifles. Likewise good encouragement will be given to a gun lock filer, that can make musket locks. Apply to Thomas Palmer on the north side of Market-street between Fourth and Fifth-streets, Philadlphia.
N.B. Any person that has skill to accomplish either of the aforsaid branches, may, if they choose, work piece work and reveive their cash every Saturday afternoon or a sum of money will be advanced to them by giving security for the delivery of their work.

Cheap neat and well made Touch-hole Prickers and Pan Brushes, being very necessary and convenient to those who use guns, for keeping the lock in compleat order.
Rifle with flint lock, full stock of curly maple, brass mountings and octagonal barrel 36 inches long with J. Meals engraved on the top facet of the barrel.
This rifle was probably made between 1825 and 1850 in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Rifle with flint lock, full stock of curly maple, brass mountings, silver inlays, octagonal brass barrel with J. Albright on the top facet of the barrel. In addition to signing his rifles on the barrel, J. Albright also carved his initials on the cheek side of the stock of some of his guns. This one is signed at both places.

Rifle with percussion lock marked W.B. full stock of curly maple, brass mountings, silver inlays, and octagonal barrel marked W.B. for William Border. The curl in this stock is an unusual example of wood selection. The carved pattern on the cheek side is different from the traditional style of the Bedford gunsmiths.
Flintlock rifle, maple full stock, brass mounted, silver inlay on the cheek side, octagonal barrel . 48" long. Rifle has an unusually long barrel and the signature of the maker, G. Weiker, is on the lid of the patch box.
