Miniature reeded sewing basket of rectangular form but bottom rounding in and down to a stepped oval foot ring anchored onto a solid softwood oval base. Top has high arched handle rising above a strut lashed across center from rim to rim. Hinged to this strut are two lift lids furnished with ring closures at ends. Lift lids have light cardboard glued to undersides, one missing.
Tops of lids are decorated with applied balls of wool onto silk leaves or flowers, now nearly unrecognizable.
Decoration on lids is very worn with one detached wool ball kept in basket with other small sheets of wool batting. Inside bottom of basket has residue and remains of fabric and paper. Cardboard liner under one lift lid is missing. Ring missing on one lid where needed for closure.
Woven in bunches of five; open, diamond pattern, diagonal weaving. Top two are wrapped bands that are connected by vertical pieces, woven with a wide red ribbon and tied in a bow. Mouth is flared outward, sides are tapered more slightly. Bottom are woven

Hamilton watch box with outer card stock case. Hinged plastic cube with orange lined interior, metal border around lip of lid. Gold foil-wrapped outer case with white lid.
Small ovular cardboard box. Outer edge is royal blue with gold edges. Lid depicts painted pastoral scene (oxen driven to river). Bottom and interior are plain, no finish.
Black Japanese box completely lacquered, inside and out, with removable lid (b) and two drawers (c,d) with metal handles that swivel 180 degrees. Top drawer is shallow, bottom drawer is deep. The rounded top front is painted with fine gold pattern, surrounded by gold border.
Various feathers painted on sides. All edges are painted gold. 3 birds painted on top with fine gold lines crossing at angles to create a mesh pattern.
Missing piece out of top part on side.

2 3/4" length gap in side of lid where a piece is missing. Piece of wood missing on inside edge of bottom drawer (35.75d). Some chipping and cracking of lacquer, pieces of veneer missing from drawer fronts. One corner foot missing from base.
